Calling Larkmoor Driving School

Sam is out teaching, so dual. picks up.

Ring the lineUses your microphone · up to 3 minutes

The conversation appears here as you talk.

Try: Can I use your car for my test? · How much for ten hours? · I need to cancel tomorrow. Or just speak Urdu, Bengali, Romanian or Polish.

What it does

Four kinds of call, handled.

01 · NEW PUPILS

Screens learners before you ring back

Postcode, manual or automatic, beginner or not, theory passed, test booked, best times. It quotes your price and first-lesson offer, then adds them to your diary request or waiting list.

02 · TEST-CAR CALLS

"Can I use your car for my test?"

83% of instructors get these every week. dual. explains your rule kindly and offers your assessment-plus-test-day package, so the call can still turn into paid hours.

03 · YOUR PUPILS

Cancellations and changes, logged

It takes the lesson, the reason and a new time, and reminds them of your notice policy without arguing. You decide, as always.

04 · YOU

A text for every call

Name, number, what they want, what they were told. Read it at the next red light and reply when it suits you. Nothing gets lost in voicemail.

What lands on your phone

One glance, then back to the lesson.

  • No voicemail tag. Learners get an answer straight away, so they don't ring round.
  • In their language. Many adult learners in London passed abroad and have to start again here. They're more comfortable booking in Urdu, Bengali, Romanian or Polish. You still get the text in English.
  • Your rules, your prices. It only says what you've told it. Anything else, it says you'll confirm.
  • Legal while you drive. You never touch the phone while supervising. dual. holds the conversation.

Three real-sounding calls

What callers hear.

The new pupil

CALLERHi, how much are your lessons? I'm a complete beginner.

DUAL.It's £40 an hour, and new pupils get first two-hour lesson £65. Is that manual or automatic, and roughly where are you?

CALLERAutomatic, near the high street.

DUAL.Lovely. What's the best number? Sam will text you today to fix your first lesson.

The test-car request

CALLERMy test's in three weeks. Can I just use your car on the day?

DUAL.Sam only takes pupils to test after driving with them first, so you know the car and the routes. There's a package: a two-hour assessment lesson, then test-day car hire with a warm-up hour, from £160.

CALLEROK, can someone check?

DUAL.Of course. What's the test date and centre?

The Bengali caller

CALLERআমার মেয়ের জন্য ড্রাইভিং লেসন লাগবে।
(I need driving lessons for my daughter.)

DUAL.অবশ্যই। ওর বয়স কত, আর ম্যানুয়াল নাকি অটোমেটিক?
(Of course. How old is she, and manual or automatic?)

CALLERসতেরো, ম্যানুয়াল। (Seventeen, manual.)

DUAL.…and Sam gets the summary in English.

Why London first

In London, whoever answers first gets the pupil.

65%

of London instructors have space for new pupils, the highest of any region. Outside London most are full.

83%

of instructors are asked to take pupils they haven't taught to their test, most of them every week.

12 May

2026: only learners can book their own tests now, so more of them ring round with a date already booked, looking for a car.

Sources: DVSA, Working as a driving instructor survey: 2025 results (3,448 ADIs, Oct 2025); DVSA booking rule changes, 2026.

How it works

Live in a week. Your number doesn't change.

A 15-minute setup call

We take your prices, area, test centres, gearbox, policies and how you like to be messaged. Already have a website? We pre-fill it from that.

Turn on "divert when busy or unanswered"

On your own mobile, on any UK network. Pupils keep ringing the same number. When you pick up, it's you. When you can't, it's dual.

Read the texts, reply when it suits

Every call ends with a text to you. Turn the divert off any time and you're back to normal in seconds.

Price

One new pupil pays for a year of it.

£59 / month

Founding 50: the first fifty London instructors pay £39 a month, locked for 12 months.

  • No setup fee. No contract. Cancel any time.
  • 200 minutes of answered calls a month included (about 120 calls), then 20p a minute.
  • English, Urdu, Bengali, Romanian and Polish (Hindi too).
  • A text summary after every call.
  • 30-day money-back guarantee.

Driving schools

Several instructors? Add each one for £39 a month. Callers are matched to the right instructor by postcode and gearbox, and each instructor gets their own texts.

Questions

Straight answers.

Will callers know it's not me?

It introduces itself as your assistant, and if anyone asks, it says plainly that it's an AI assistant. Most callers just want an answer and a price, and they get both straight away.

Does it book lessons straight into my diary?

Not by itself. It takes the request and texts it to you, and you confirm the slot, so nothing gets double-booked. Diary sync with Google Calendar and the common instructor apps is planned for schools.

Which networks does it work with?

Any UK mobile or landline that supports conditional call divert (EE, O2, Vodafone, Three, giffgaff, Tesco, Sky, BT and others). We send you the exact code to dial for your network.

What does it never do?

It never takes card details, never claims DVSA approval, never quotes pass rates or guarantees, and never gives advice about moving or buying test slots. It only uses the prices and policies you've given it.

Where does the caller data go?

Your callers' details belong to you. Membula processes them for you under a written data processing agreement (we're ICO registered, ZC217148). Call recordings and transcripts are deleted after 30 days.

I'm full with a waiting list. Is it still useful?

Yes, in a different way. It takes the "are you taking pupils?" calls and adds people to your waiting list with their details. It handles test-car requests and logs cancellations, so you can offer the gap to the next person.
